Elyana starts her academic career as a young lecturer at the Department of International Relations Universitas Islam Indonesia in 2024. She graduated bachelor’s degree from Universitas Islam Indonesia in 2018 and graduated master’s degree from Universitas Gadjah Mada in 2023. She is interested research on Global Migration, Political Populism, and International Security. She wrote Undergraduate Thesis that has titled “Analisis Meningkatnya Fenomena Xenofobia terhadap Kebijakan Pemerintah Prancis pada Era Pemerintahan Francois Hollande dan Emmanuel Macron (2012 – 2018)”, and also she wrote Thesis that has titled “Anti-Immigrant Discourse: The Practice and Mobilization of Populist Politics in France”. She was awarded for the Best Thesis in the subfield of International Politics in Master Program of International Relations, Faculty of Social and Political Science, Universitas Gadjah Mada in 2023.
